The Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry's 'hot line' received 13 appeals on landslides in the first five months of 2010, Ministry Spokesman Irada Ibrahimova said.
The ministry carried out geological studies on10 of them and three petitions currently under investigation.
During the report period, the ministry received 18 complaints in connection with the formation of landfills and its burning, and each fact was investigated.
The national environmental monitoring agency's employees reviewed 12 complaints related to air pollution in the first five months of 2010.
In addition, the Ministry received seven complaints on excess noise. The ministry received total of 280 complaints in January-May 2010.
