The Iranian capital of Tehran will host a workshop on "Azerbaijan: Place and Role in the Region and the World" on Sept. 19. The workshop was announced in a recent report by the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences' (ANAS) Institute of Oriental Studies.
MP Ziya Bunyadov, Institute of Oriental Studies Deputy Director Govher Bakhshaliyeva and other institute employees will speak at the event.
Speakers will address Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, Azerbaijani-Russian relations and their impact on the Caucasus, Azerbaijani-Armenian relations and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and Azerbaijani-Georgian relations, as well as many other issues.
The workshop will be held with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran and Tehran University.
