Azerbaijan fined facilities that don't regulate domestic emissions on the beaches in the settlements of Buzovna, Shuvalan, Mardakan and Zira, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan said.
As a result of raids conducted by Ministry of Ecology jointly with Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's staff, the "Azad-T" firm operating on the Shuvalan beach was fined in the amount of 6,500 manat.
In addition, owners of facilities "Gilavar", "Sahil", "Titanic", "Dostlar", "Lachin" operating in the Buzovna settlement, as well as "Khazri" - in the Mardakan settlement, "Yeni Dalga" and "Delfin" - in the Shuvalan settlement, were fined in the amount of 500 manat.
Ministry of Ecology has fined a number of other physical entities, uneffectively regulating the emissions in the the Caspian Sea on the beaches of the Absheron Peninsula.
