Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan. 27 / Trend, N. Kirtskhalia /

A trial over the Georgian citizen Darejan Kohtashvili will be held today in Malaysia. The process was supposed to take place on Jan. 20, but was postponed by the judge.

Presumably, the results of chemical examination will become known by today's process.

Regarding the second Georgian citizen Babutsa Gordadze, her trial is scheduled for February.

The Georgian side has already given all necessary documentation to the Malaysian law enforcement authorities, including the testimony of Babutsa Gordadze's former husband Eldar Davitiani, where he pleads guilty.

Georgian citizens Babutsa Gordadze and Kohtashvili were detained in Malaysia on charges of drug trafficking in October. If they are found guilty, they will face the death penalty.
