The Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office has filed three criminal cases based on citizen complaints of corruption.

A resident of the Mil settlement in the Beylagan region, Natig Ismailov, accused a representative of the chief of the regional executive power, Jeyhun Guliyev, of fraud and abuse of power. The appeal was considered in the Beylagan Regional District Prosecutor's Office.

It was found that wheat was not sown on land owned by Guliyev's father and mother, and Hajiyev Suleyman and others.

Guliyev indicated the false information in the official documents. He wrote that wheat was sown there.

Thus, Guliyev has appropriated funds to the amount of 2,000 manat allocated from the state budget to farmers to develop agriculture using bank cards.

A criminal case was filed under Article 179.2.4 (embezzlement), 308.1 (abuse of power) and 313 (forgery) of the Criminal Code.
