The Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Violations of Azerbaijan may be amended, the press service of the Azerbaijani Parliament told Trend.
The bill, recommended to be considered by the Parliament, tomorrow will be presented for discussion.
The amendments to the Criminal Code provide that the illegal manufacture, sale or acquisition of technical means for getting confidential information shall be criminally responsible.
Such an offense will be fined in amount from1000 to 5,000 manat or will be subject to restriction of freedom up to five years or imprisonment for the same period.
But in the proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Violations, the illegal acquisition of technical means to obtain confidential information, not intended for sale, is considered an administrative violation.
This offense will be fined in the amount from 200 to 400 manat with the confiscation of technical means to obtain secret information.
