The Azerbaijani National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council thinks the fault on the Russian Channel One as the Armenian provocation.

"This may be a provocation organized by Armenians working on this channel to irritate the Azerbaijani audience," a member of the National Council Gafar Jabiyev told Trend.

Azerbaijan was mentioned among the countries with high chances for victory at Andrei Malakhov's popular show "Let Them Talk" on Channel One on May 13. The program was devoted to favorites of Eurovision-2011 final. But the Armenian flag was demonstrated instead of the Azerbaijani flag at the station break.

At the same time, Jabiyev does not exclude that it may be a technical fault, but in any case, it is a disgrace to the TV channel.
"Such a channel as the Channel One must organize its work at a professional level," he said. "One may not play on the nerves, the feelings of millions of representatives of one nation."

He wonders why these faults occur toward Azerbaijan every time.

"Why is the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan sometimes distorted on the maps?" he said. "Let these channels show Yerevan and demonstrate the Azerbaijani flag once. Why do not these technical faults occur? This once again proves the treachery of the Armenians."
