Execution of a criminal case filed against Elnur Majidli has been suspended.
A criminal case has been filed against Elnur Majidli under Article 281.1.(public appeals to violent capture of authority) of the Criminal Code on the charge of dissemination of public appeals to violent capture of authority through Internet which contradicts the Azerbaijani Republic's Constitution, and Serious Crimes Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office was charged with primary investigation, the spokesman for the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office Eldar Sultanov told Trend on Friday.
A decision was made to consider Majidli as accused under the above-mentioned article of the Criminal Code.
It was decided to suspend execution of the criminal case against the accused Elnur Majidli on June 2, 2011.
