Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Political Analysis and Information Provision Department head Elnur Aslanov said the Third Congress of World Azerbaijanis will promote the improvement of future diaspora activities and establishment of means to expose worldwide the realities of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"President Ilham Aliyev's speech at Congress will determine the strategy for future phases of the diasporas' activities," Aslanov told journalists today.
"Over the past ten years, the Azerbaijani diaspora has successfully passed the stage of forming coordination activities. Today, the Azerbaijani diaspora has become a structure that can act on behalf of a single center and undertake specific work to carry out its activities in many countries," he added.
