A special curfew was announced for military units due to hot weather.
In this regard, Defense Minister
Safar Abiyev signed the order, spokesman for the Defense Ministry, Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu told Trend.
He said that the order requires soldiers to be in the military unit barracks from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., due to the hot weather.
This measure aims to protect soldiers and officers from the effects of hot weather, especially sunstroke.
The temperature increased in Azerbaijan during the last week.
According to the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the air temperature has risen to 42 degrees in some areas of Azerbaijan.
