A scientific session was held in the Ziya Buniyatov Oriental Studies Institute under the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences on Tuesday.
The session was dedicated to the life and activity of an outstanding representative of the Azerbaijani and world science of the twentieth century - the orientalist, teacher, doctor of philological sciences, professor Aida Imanguliyeva.
Aida Imanguliyeva was one of the outstanding representatives of the Azerbaijani science of the twentieth century, director of the Oriental Studies Institute, MP Govhar Bakhshaliyeva said.
She said that Imanguliyeva passed a great scientific and creative way from a research assistant to the director of the Oriental Studies Institute. Aida Imanguliyeva greatly contributed to the development of Azerbaijani science during these years.
Bakhshaliyeva said that Aida Imanguliyeva was one of the few experts who have studied the synthesis of the literature and its mutual influence.
