Swedish television channel SVT will start to air "Before ESC" telecast on April 16, Eurovision website said on Saturday.

Each of the 42 songs that will be presented at the Eurovision 2012 Song Contest will be listened to, and these songs will be evaluated on a five-point system (from one to five points). One of the interesting points is that the show host is head of the Swedish delegation at Eurovision Christer Bjorkman.

Gina Diravi, a well-known TV presenter, Mans Zalmerlov, who twice took part in the Melodifestivalen contest, Lena Philipson, who represented Sweden at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, Lizet Pagler, a singer and actress and Thomas Lundin, an expert of Eurovision, will participate in commenting on songs of the 57th Eurovision Song Contest.

The first show will be held on April 16, the remaining editions will be aired on April 23, April 30 and May 7.

The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall, which is under construction near the State Flag Square. The Baku Crystal Hall is the arena with a capacity of up to 23,000 spectators. Approximately 16,000 people will be able to attend each of the three Eurovision Song Contest live shows in May.

The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.

Logo of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is "Fire Flower", while the motto is Light your fire!

Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
