Activity has been observed in landslide areas in the Ismayilli region, Ismayilli Executive Power head Rafael Ahmadov told Trend today.

He said there is danger of landslides in the village Ikindzhi Eniyol and some other villages.

Activity is observed in landslide areas Diyally, Guyum, Tirdzhan, Lahych, Khankendi, Sulut, Gushendzha, Khanagah, Eniyol, Ikindzhi Eniyol, Garagaya, Vasha, Bizlan, Mudrise, Dvoran.

There is a dangerous situation in ten houses of the village Eniyol.

These houses are located on the landslide areas. So, the decision was made to resettle the residents of these houses. Several houses have already been vacated, he said.

He said that at present, specialists of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and the Ministry for Emergency Situations operate on the landslide areas.

Not long ago, experts at these ministries monitored the landslide areas. As 145 houses are in disrepair, the opinion about immediate relocation was expressed, he said.

He said that after the last activation of landslides, some houses in several villages were in the emergency condition.

The documents on the land allocation for the residents whose homes are in disrepair have been formalized. After the Cabinet of Ministers allocates funds for construction of new houses at these sites, construction operations will begin, he said.

There is activity in the landslide areas in Baku and some regions - Shamakhi, Agsu and southern areas. The monitoring is being held to examine landslide areas in a number of regions, including Ismayilli region.
