Official opening of the Eurovision-2012 song contest will be held on May 19 at EuroClub, which will begin its work on May 13 at the Palace of Hand games, the official website of the competition said on Monday.
Currently the preparation work is being held at EuroClub. The scene has been already installed.
Entrance in EuroClub, which is located in 2.5 km from the Baku Cristall Hall, will be based on accreditation. Official opening of Eurovision-2012 song contest will be held at EuroClub on May 19.
Eurovillage will also be operating on May 19, which is another entertainment place of the Eurovision. Eurovillage will be open from May 19 to 26 from 13:00 to 23:00, and till 22:00 in the days of the show. There will be a variety of shows, concerts of the Eurovision - 2012 participants and the sale of Eurovision accessories.
The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.
The logo for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is 'Fire Flower', while the motto is Light your fire.
Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
