The parents of a 15-year-old Iranian boy who was killed in a serious accident in the city of Eshtehard have handed his organs to 12 patients who needed transplants, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported on Friday.
According to the agency, the parents have taken the difficult step after doctors said the boy was brain dead and he has no chance to survive.
His heart, kidneys, corneas, bones and hips were give to 12 patients.
