On July 5, Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi met with his Korean counterpart Kim Sung-Hwan in Seoul, Korea, Asia-Plus reports with reference to Tajik foreign ministry information department.

The sides considered the issues related to state and prospects of further development of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and South Korea.

They, in particular, discussed establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor migration, hydropower, geology, health care, and agriculture.

At the end of the meeting, Hamrokhon Zarifi and Kim Sung-Hwan signed a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and South Korea on mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of service and diplomatic passports.
