The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan released information about the murder of a worker at a currency exchange office in Tovuz.
On Monday, Sahib Jafarov, who worked at the Nasimi currency exchange office in the shopping centre, parked his Kia car and was fatally wounded in the right thigh by a bullet from a hunting rifle whilst going to his workplace. The unknown assailant was wearing a mask, the press service of the Interior Ministry informed Trend.
Jafarov died at the scene from loss of blood.
According to the information, an initial inspection is being conducted by the prosecutor's office and operational search measures undertaken by the district's police department.
