On 4 May at 12:00 youngsters between the ages of 5 and 13 and their parents will have a chance to take part in a master class by the Russian art studio "P.T.H." as guests of the Participate Public Art Festival. The Arts Collective "P.T.H." is visiting Baku as part of the Participate Public Art Festival organised by the YARAT Contemporary Art Space.

The "Fabulous Bestiary" project is one of 10 festival projects and as with all this year's other projects it is distinguished by its interactive nature. All the Festival's participants will also share their experience with you through lectures and master classes. The Festival is being sponsored by Bank Respublika

Can a huge fish from fairytale legend be brought to life using a few old newspapers, household sticky tape and a child's irrepressible imagination? The artists from Petersburg working in the genre of public art answer this question with a resounding yes! The master class will teach your children how to think creatively and bring their fantasies to life using the most ordinary objects. Come and see for yourself that a fairytale begins where children and adults join forces to create a beautiful story making themselves and the city a little happier.

All participants are requested to bring with them some old newspapers and magazines as working material. This will help your child to fully experience their contribution to creating an installation.

The master class is open to all and will take place in Officers' Park (opposite the Circus).

The class begins at 12:00.
