Applicants, passing exams within the 1st group of specialties for a bachelor's degree this year, will be able to choose two majors offered by the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) - "Computer Science" and "Engineering of Information Technologies and Systems", ADA told Trend.
According to ADA Vice Rector for Strategy and Development Emin Huseynov, the academic institution, which was established seven years ago for short-term training of employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has turned into a multi-disciplinary university offering six bachelor's degrees and three master's degrees.
In the process of establishment of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies, ADA will collaborate with leading world universities in this field. One of these schools is Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology - KAIST. According to the initial agreement between the universities, KAIST will cooperate with ADA on establishment of a number of departments of the institute, attraction of leading international experts to this institute and so fourth.
In the 2013/2014 academic year, along with computer and IT-specialties, bachelors will be able to make a choice among the faculties of "International Relations", "Business Management" and "Economy, state and public relations" for II and III groups.
