In 2013 the holidays of over 200,000 people were organized at the expenses of Azerbaijani trade unions, the chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sattar Mehbaliyev told journalists on Tuesday.
According to him, these people were provided with five, six, 10 and 20 days vacations.
He noted that the Trade Unions Confederation controls agreements between trade unions and ministries.
The head of the Confederation added that the trade unions are also providing vacations for employees at their own expenses.
"The trade unions create holiday centres for their district unions. Such centres have already been constructed by various government departments for communication, railway and other fields' workers," the Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation said.
