Baku 2015 European Games to be held at high level

Baku-2015 European Games will be held at a high level, and a professional team has been formed, Executive Director of the European Games Operating Committee, Simon Clegg said.
This the first time The European Games are being held, so there can be problems, he said.
"But we put forward new ideas, new initiatives, I encourage all the committee to bring forth innovative ideas. Experience obtained here will help to hold such competitions in the future," the executive director said.
Although little time is left for organizing the competitions, it will not be an obstacle to their conduction, Clegg said.
"I assume that with the full support of the president, we will successfully implement all organizational processes. I can confirm that a very strong base was created for organizing the competition. Very pleased with the level of planning and implementation of all work," he said.
The facilities for the games are being built with extraordinary speed and meet all modern standards, according to the executive director.
"I am confident that they will be delivered on time. Not only the speed of construction, but also quality is taken into account here. Azerbaijan, by constructing such facilities made quality investments, as these facilities will contribute to the development of sports in the country for many years," Clegg said.
He also expressed hope that Azerbaijani athletes will demonstrate high results in competitions.
