Azerbaijan will host the 62nd meeting of plenipotentiary representatives of the railway administrations of Baltic countries and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), RIA Novosti news agency said Sept. 16.
This decision was taken at the 61st meeting held in the Kyrgyz city of Cholpon-Ata.
The meeting in Azerbaijan is scheduled for October 2014.
The previous meeting in Kyrgyzstan discussed the scheduling of passenger trains in the CIS and Baltic countries on international direct line in 2015-2016, and addressing the problems in organizing the passenger transportation, etc.
A protocol was signed following the meeting.
