Azerbaijani, Turkish pilots test combat coordination possibilities (PHOTO)

Pilots of the air forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey tested combat coordination possibilities, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's press service said Sept. 22.
The two countries pilots conducted flights on the MiG-29 two-seat training-fighter jets to review the flight area, military airfields, aeronautical situation along the route, and conditions on alternate aerodromes.
The pilots will also hold joint flights on the F-16 two-seat training-fighter jets.
The exercises will last until October 3.
They involve over 30 aircraft of the Azerbaijani and Turkish air forces, including Mig-29 and F-16 fighter jets, Su-25 attack aircraft, C-130 Herkules military transport plane, Mi-24 and AH-1W Super Cobra combat helicopters, Mi-17 and Sikorski UH-60 military transport helicopters.
