Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 4

Azerbaijan is determined to make a very constructive contribution to global dialogue, the UN Development Program (UNDP) Administrator Helen Clark said.
Clark said she is very interested in the role, which Azerbaijan is playing regionally and also globally.
"Azerbaijan is a very good partner for UNDP, and we have a vision for partnership, which we will see grow into a very strategic one," Clark added.
The UNDP administrator also noted that she enjoyed her visit to Azerbaijan. She said that during the visit to Azerbaijan she took part in the 4th Baku International Humanitarian Forum, and also met with a number of ministers.
Speaking on Azerbaijan's ASAN Service, Clark said she had the opportunity to see how much convenient it is for Azerbaijanis to get to one place and benefit from the services of a large number of ministries.
"It is not only convenient to citizens, but it also eliminates any possibility of corruption," she added.
Clark also praised the Azerbaijani government's work in preventing the consequences of natural disasters.
She added that the increase in the number of natural disasters due to climate change demands planning, and this in turn requires further work to adapt to changes.
