The circuit, which will be used for hosting the first 'Formula One' races in Baku in 2016, will look much more attractive than on the scheme, said Hermann Tilke, who has designed most of the circuits for Formula One, the f1news.ru website said Jan. 13.

Tilke said the track's circle, running through the streets of Azerbaijan's capital, in reality, will look much more attractive.

"You should see the circuit in three dimensions, and it is impossible to understand this from the drawings," Tilke said, adding that the track runs towards the old town in Baku, and then goes along the fortress wall of the 13th century.

"All this will be very interesting," he stressed. "This will be a temporary circuit running along the existing roads."

Tilke further noted that the coating on some of the roads will be changed.

"The track is very fast, and it completely differs from any other city circuit in the world. It isn't like in Monaco or Singapore. It will be something very special," Tilke added.
