After the Firts European Games and following saturated trainings in Baku to which gymnasts from different foreign countries also joined, the Baltic coasts became the next competitive destination of the Azerbaijani Rhythmic Gymnastics National Team, the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation said.
The team's Leader Marina Durunda has won 2 gold medals for her performances with a ball and clubs, as well as one silver medal in the all-around of the "Baltic Cup" International Tournament held in Polish Gdynia this weekend.
Gulsum Shafizada is coming back with medals from the Baltic coasts as well. She won the "silver" and "bronze" for the exercises with a hoop and a ribbon accordingly.
Another gymnast, representing Azerbaijan in this event, Zeynep Celep, took the 8th place in total of 4 exercises performed.
