The Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports has transferred the Baku Olympic Stadium to the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) for long-term gratuitous use, AFFA said Oct. 21.
Javid Garayev, the head of the AFFA advertising and marketing department, has been appointed as the director of the stadium, the statement said.
The Baku Olympic Stadium can accommodate 68,000 spectators.
