No Azerbaijanis among victims of Paris terror attacks – preliminary info

There are no Azerbaijani citizens among victims of the terrorist attacks perpetrated in Paris, according to preliminary information, said Hikmat Hajiyev, spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
He told Trend Nov. 14 that according to information received by Azerbaijan's Embassy from the French Foreign Ministry, as of 16:00 Baku time (UTC/GMT +4 hours) there are no Azerbaijani nationals among the terrorist attack victims.
Azerbaijan's Embassy in France has also posted a message on its website, asking fellow citizens, temporarily residing in France, to inform the embassy calling 0144186020, if they have any information about Azerbaijanis who might have fallen victim to the terrorist attacks.
Numerous terrorist attacks were conducted in Paris on Nov. 13-14. Four gunmen systematically slaughtered at least 87 young people attending a rock concert at the Bataclan music hall.
Some 40 more people were killed in five other attacks in the Paris region, including an apparent double suicide bombing outside the national stadium where French president Hollande and German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier were watching a friendly soccer international. Some 200 people were injured.
