The Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and High Technologies will operate at a higher level, Elmir Velizade, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies,
said at a press conference in Baku dedicated to the opening of the 21st International Telecommunications Exhibition BakuTel-2015 Dec. 1.
He said that the first deputy minister of communications and high technology has been appointed.
According to the presidential order, he is also an acting minister.
"In this regard, the ministry carries out the relevant work to ensure the activity at a higher level," he said.
Earlier, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the appointment of Ramin Guluzade as the first deputy minister of communications and high technologies. Earlier, he headed the department at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Ramin Guluzade has been working at the Heydar Aliyev since 2004. He was involved in the organizational work, the implementation of social, humanitarian projects of this organization in the country and abroad.
