Azerbaijan's law enforcement forces have lifted a ban on entry and exit with regards to the Nardaran township, where a special operation took place a day before, Trend's correspondent at the scene reported Dec. 2.
The operation was launched in Nardaran Dec. 1 to seize illegally stored firearms, explosive devices from the township's residents.
Currently, the residents and cars are allowed to enter Nardaran, after a check-up. Azerbaijani Interior Ministry's quick-response unit is operating in the area.
Four members of a criminal group, operating under the guise of religion, were killed during a police operation in Nardaran Nov.26. Two police officers were also killed in the standoff.
Fourteen members of the criminal group were arrested along with the group's head Tale Baghirov.
