State Security Service created in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan
Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec. 19
Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan, Vasif Talibov decreed Dec. 19 to create the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic's State Security Service on the basis of the National Security Ministry.
Under Talibov's decree, Fazil Alakbarov was appointed the chief of the State Security Service, Trend has learned.
The position of the national security minister of Nakhchivan was earlier held by Major General Vali Alasgarov.
