Azerbaijani police arrested two more people in Baku's Nardaran township, Police Department of Sabunchu district of Baku told Trend Dec.23.
The detained are the residents of the township Alasgar Hasanov and Nahid Bakhramov, according to the police department.
A criminal case under Article 228 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of firearms, its accessories, ammunition, explosives) was initiated with respect to the detainees and they were arrested for four months by the decision of the court.
Earlier, five members of a criminal group, operating under the guise of religion, were killed during a police operation in the township of Nardaran Nov.26. Two police officers were also killed in the standoff.
Fourteen members of the criminal group were arrested along with the group's ringleader Taleh Baghirov.
