The 7th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations in Baku became an excellent platform for discussing global problems and searching new ideas, says the UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser.
He made the remarks during the closing ceremony of the forum on Apr.27.
The UN Alliance of Civilizations is proud of the cooperation with the Azerbaijani government, said the UN high representative.
He noted that various topics, in particular, extremism and the methods of fighting it, were discussed during the forum.
In order to create an integrated society, it is necessary to solve many problems, especially, those in the spheres of education, youth and migration, according to Al-Nasser.
The UN high representative also talked about the upcoming cultural and sports events to be held by the Alliance of Civilizations soon.
The international community needs to do more for a better future, he added.
