BP, the operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field development project, says a body has been recovered from the seabed in the vicinity of the Deepwater Gunashli (DWG) platform in the Caspian Sea.
The body has been transported to shore where it has been received by appropriate law enforcement agencies, Tamam Bayatly, communications manager of the BP Azerbaijan Communication and External Affairs Department, told Trend Nov. 11.
KCA Deutag (BP drilling contractor), which is the employer of the missing oil worker, confirmed his identity.
It was previously reported about the contractor company’s missing employee at the Deepwater Gunashli platform.
