The International Judges’ Courses of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) in men’s artistic gymnastics have started in Baku, and will be held till Feb. 9

The International Judges’ Courses of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) in men’s artistic gymnastics have started in Baku, and will be held till Feb. 9, Trend’s correspondent reported from the event.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the courses, President of the FIG Men’s Technical Committee Steve Butcher welcomed the courses’ participants, introduced the members of the FIG organizing committee and thanked the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for the excellent organization of the event.

Then, the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation Secretary General Farid Gayibov made speech at the opening ceremony of the courses. Gayibov greeted the participants of the courses and wished them good luck. He expressed confidence that the courses will be held successfully.

Sixty-six judges from 17 federations are taking part in the courses. Azerbaijan is represented by 6 people.
