The first race of the FIA Formula 2 in Baku has witnessed the first accident as Rapax driver, Johnny Cecotto, missed the Turn 1 and crashed.
His car hit a fence at the Turn 2 due to the blockage of tyres. As a result, Cecotto left the race.
The first race of the FIA Formula 2 started in Azerbaijan’s capital on June 24. Twenty drivers from 10 teams are taking part in the competition.
