Baku, Azerbaijan, May 29
An aircraft of Qatar Airways made an emergency landing at Baku's Heydar Aliyev International Airport May 29 due to an engine failure.
The Airbus A330 aircraft, with 137 people on board, was flying from Doha to Tunisia, the airport's press service said in a message.
The plane made a successful landing at 12:16 (GMT + 4). There are no casualties.
The Heydar Aliyev International Airport said it is ready to provide all necessary assistance to passengers and crew members, as well as necessary technical support for the aircraft.
The airport is equipped with the most modern navigation and ground equipment, therefore, it is mainly chosen in force majeure situations.
