National Gymnastics Arena in Baku very beautiful - spectator from Russia

The organization level of the 4th Open Azerbaijan and Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championships is very high, Daniil Ivanov, a spectator from Russia, told Trend Oct. 6.
“We came from Russia to root for and support our daughter Irina Ivanova, she performs in an individual program, as part of a trio and in a group,” he said. “I like the organization of the tournament in Baku a lot. We were in Russia at several competitions as well - you have a very high level, everything is very well prepared. The building of the National Gymnastics Arena looks very nice from the outside, and the hall inside is beautiful.”
The spectator said that he was planning to go for a walk around Baku and enjoy the beauty of the city.
“Baku is very hospitable,” he said. “Kind, sympathetic people live here, and it is very nice. Many thanks to Azerbaijan!”
The 4th Open Azerbaijan and Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championships started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on Oct. 6.
On the first day of the competitions, gymnasts are performing in individual programs in four age categories (gymnasts born in 2011-2010, 2009-2007, 2006-2004 and 2003-2001), as well as in trios in three age categories (gymnasts born in 2011-2010, 2009-2007 and 2006-2004).
Gymnasts from Azerbaijan (represented by “Ojag Sport” and “AyUlduz” clubs), Russia and Bulgaria are taking part in the competitions. The championship will for the first time see performances of gymnasts from Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
Final performances will be held Oct. 7.
