BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Azerbaijan's tuition fees are much lower when compared to its neighboring countries, Trend reports citing the data of Erudera, the world's first education search platform backed by AI.

The report said that on average, tuition fees for foreigners in Azerbaijani universities can be up to 6,500AZN or around $3,800 per year for bachelor’s degrees. For postgraduate degrees it is possible to be up to 6,800AZN, around $4,000 annually.

According to Erudera, in Armenia, it is supposed that for an international it will cost from 400,000 AMD to 4.1 Million AMD ($800- $8,540) per year.

Furthermore, in Russian Federation, international students usually spend between $1,500 to $10,600 EUR per year for bachelor’s degrees and much higher for master's or PhD studies.

“One of the reasons international students choose Azerbaijan as a study destination is that Azerbaijan is quite a stable country, with a very low crime rate,” the report said.

The report noted that by 2019 Azerbaijan was home to 5,513 international students.
