BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. New requirements for food safety during their sale and consumption are being determined in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This issue was reflected in the new bill "On food security", which was discussed on May 5 at a meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
According to the bill, catering facilities can provide food to consumers, taking into account the implementation of food safety requirements.
In catering and service facilities, procedures based on food safety and quality control system should be applied, and an internal control system in this area should be in place.
The bill was put to the vote and adopted in the third reading.
