BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 24. Azerbaijani Army has held tactical-special exercises on "Conducting combat operations in severe frost", Trend reports via the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, the exercises first checked supplies necessary for personnel activities in the severe frost and blizzard conditions and high mountainous areas, provision of various supplies and food, as well as the ability of units to deploy on the ground in winter conditions.
In order to conduct highly professional combat operations and rescue activities in severe frost conditions, improve the knowledge and skills of command staff in managing units, practical training was conducted with the units involved in the training.
During the special tactical exercises, checking the skills of personnel in performing combat missions in severe frost conditions, special forces groups carried out tactical actions behind the lines of an imaginary enemy.
The goals set during the exercises were successfully achieved.
