BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 29. The 15 July Martyrs, Sultan Mehmet Fateh and Sultan Selim Yavuz bridges, considered symbols of Istanbul, were painted in the colors of the Azerbaijani flag on the occasion of May 28 - Independence Day, Trend reports.
The flag projection was organized on the initiative of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, with the support of Turkish government agencies.
Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu wrote on his account on X that Istanbul, covered with the colors of the Azerbaijani flag, looks even more beautiful this night.
"The Sultan Mehmet Fateh, 15 July Martyrs and Sultan Selim Yavuz bridges were painted in the colors of Azerbaijan. Happy Independence Day of Azerbaijan," he wrote.
