BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. A total of 321 international observers have been registered for the snap parliamentary election in Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at today's meeting of CEC in Baku, Trend reports.
According to Panahov, 93,964 local observers were registered for the election.
The international observers represent 39 organizations and 46 countries, he added.
On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
