BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. About 50 percent of residential areas built in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan are located in green zones, Chairman of the Board of the Agency Mirsalam Ganbarov said at public hearings at the State Agency of Environmental Expertise, Trend reports.
“Special attention is paid to greenery while planning construction in these areas,” he noted.
Ganbarov emphasized the agency's commitment to integrating environmental considerations into urban planning, underscoring the dedication to preserving and expanding green areas, including the relocation of trees displaced by construction.
The hearings focused on the importance of maintaining and enhancing green spaces and the agency's efforts to transplant trees to designated areas to minimize environmental impact.
