BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan (CAERC) will hold a forum titled "Global Think Tanks" in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), and the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Institute (CAREC Institute) on November 16, 2024, Trend reports via statement from CAERC.

The forum on "Global Green Economy: Climate Action, Financing and Innovation" will feature representatives from the most influential think tanks, scholars, government officials, MPs, private sector representatives, NGOs, and other stakeholders.

The Global Think Tanks Forum aims to foster a better understanding of the consequences of climate change and encourage actions supporting the implementation of the Paris Agreement through promoting dialogue among countries.

Speakers at the forum will include CAERC Executive Director Professor Vusal Gasimli, ADBI Executive Director Tetsushi Sonobe, Special Advisor to the President of Indonesia Bambang Brodjonegoro, Advisor to the Director-General of the Asian Development Bank Institute Nicholas Bishu, Shien Saiyoming from the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution Amar Bhattacharya, President of the World Wildlife Fund Adil Najam, and leaders and scholars from other prestigious think tanks.

The first part of the forum will discuss "Global Pathways to Sustainability: Mitigation, Adaptation, and Energy Transition," while the second part will focus on "Green Finance for Global Climate Resilience: Strategies and Innovations."
