BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 11. Azerbaijan is represented at the traditional “World Week” of the University of Sheffield in England, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's State Committee for Work with Diaspora.
It was noted that our country was represented by the Azerbaijan Student Society of the University of Sheffield, founded by Azerbaijani students studying at the university.
Azerbaijani students presented to foreign students extensive information about our country and talked about our significant historical days, such as Victory Day and State Flag Day.
Dozens of foreign students approached the corner and stand of Azerbaijan, expressed their interest, and received detailed information about our country. Many questions about our country were asked during the event. Full information was provided for all questions.
Azerbaijan's representation at the “World Week” was of special significance in terms of promoting international recognition of our country's history and culture, modern development, and original values.
Moreover, it was emphasized that the Azerbaijan Student Society of the University of Sheffield was founded in 2023 by Azerbaijani students studying at the University of Sheffield. Since its establishment, the society has been engaged in promoting the history and culture of Azerbaijan, our national heritage. The society represents our country with dignity by constantly organizing seminars, exhibitions, cultural evenings, and various interactive events.
