Chairman of the Mejlis of the National Board of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan, as well as the head of the Centre for theological researches Elchin Askerov was appointed the
first deputy chairman of the State Committee on work with the religious structures, the National Board of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The National Board evaluates this move as the result of the attention and care to the youth. The address of the organization to the mass media underlines, that promoting of young and professional people for the posts is an important step.
It should be noted, that the National Board of the Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan is the only youth platform uniting 63 youth organizations during 10 years. In 1997 РіРѕРґСѓ the structure became a fully-fledged member of the European Youth Forum, and in 2002 received the membership at the UNO Economic and Social Council with the consultative voice.
