AZERBAIJAN SAUDI ARABIA TO SIGN AGREEMENT ON CO-OP IN EDUCATION

Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia will sign an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of education. The Education Ministry told Trend the document will be signed during the forthcoming visit of the Saudi Education Minister, Khamad bin Muhammad Al Angari, to Azerbaijan.

Earlier the document was scheduled for signing during Azerbaijani President’s visit to Saudi Arabia, while the sides decided to postpone it till the Education Minister’s forthcoming visit.

Employees of the Azerbaijani Education Ministry conveyed an official invitation to the Saudi Minister during the recent visit to Saudi Arabia. The two sides discussed issues linked with the development of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of education.

During the visit scheduled for October it is planned to discuss the mutual recognition of diplomas and prospects of cooperation in the sphere of science and technique. The Education Ministers of the two countries will consider exchange of personnel, in particular students and teachers, establishment of direct contacts among the universities of the two countries.
