TEYMUR RAJABOV GO UP IN FIDE RATING

The Azerbaijani grand master, Teymur Rajabov considerably improved his positions in new rating of the FIDE.

The silver medalist of the European championship in Poland went up to 12th position. He has scored 22 points for the last three months and now his rating is equal to 2704 points. Rajabov left behind Aleksei Drev from Russia, Etienne Bakro from France, Francisco Valiekho from Spain, Nigel Short from the UK.

Shahriyar Mammadov also improved his rating gaining 28 points. He went up to 29th position.

But the leader is Garri Kasparov, while Vishvanatan Anand and Bulgarian Veselin Topalov follow him.
