Preparatory hearing on the case of former head of Azizbayov Police Precinct, Maj. Gurban Husseynov, will he held at the Azizbayov District Court on 23 November 2005, Araz Kazimov, the chairman of the Azizbayov District, told Trend.
During the investigation the Prosecutor Office of Azizbayov District revealed that on 29 August Husseynov maimed on his employee, an authorized operative worker, Ismayil Mammadov. On 30 August the Prosecutor’s Office filed a suit in accordance with Article 309.2 of the Criminal Code. Husseynov was made answerable and gave a written undertaking not to leave a place.
On 3 September 2005 the district prosecutor office sent the case of Husseynov to city prosecutor office for investigation. During the further investigation it was revealed that Husseynov used assault and battery in regard to his employee, Mammadov, due to his delay for work.
Forensic examination revealed that the suffered had injuries in lower jaw, concussion of the brain, contusion in right shoulder, scapula and thigh.
